Because the Barr family is coming for lunch tomorrow, and because we are having an appraisal done on Monday, the house got cleaned today.
I don't mean "cleaned" as in a quick going over and a promise to do better next time.
I mean "cleaned" as in you could eat off the floor, drink out of the toilets, use a white glove on any surface.
Pictures got hung that have been leaning against walls for years. Literally. I even took vent grates off and cleaned them. Curtis took two fans apart and we dusted the blades. (Although, I think that last one was just a reason to spend some time outside!)
The drawback is that I can't find a damn thing.
