I was in Topeka for a continuing legal education seminar today.Topeka is one of my favorite cities - always has been. It is, after all, the place where my parents were raised, where my grandparents lived, where they had many, many television stations when I was a kid, where Luke was born, where I went to law school, where I go when I need a Red Lobster fix, just to name a few!
It was, of course, hotter than hell.
Gov. Sam Brownshirt was right at home.
