April 16, 2011 Beautiful Day in Pottawatomie County

Luke helped his Uncle Jay with the Tulip Festival bike ride. The longest route was 65 miles and Luke and Will (Jay and Kim's son) put up signs along the way so the riders wouldn't get lost. When the ride was over and Luke had a chance to unwind from putting up signs, making sure signs stayed up and taking signs down, I asked him to drive the route with me so I could see where the riders rode. It was a beautiful day and the scenery was gorgeous. The Flint Hills in Pott County outdid themselves.

I imagine it would have be more beautiful by bike.
