June 14, 2011 Vacation Day 3

There is only one drawback to Hilton Head Island, but it's a big one.

Alligators.

The streak in the lower middle of the pond is a baby alligator. There is nothing between me and him except the car door.

The little alligators grow into big alligators.

Big alligators have the right of way.

At the top, out of the picture, are some house whose backyards slope into this pond. THE POND WITH ALLIGATORS IN IT.

Alligators. In the pond. In the backyard.
